Students in grades K-8 participated in the voting process. Each student was given a registration card with his/her name. Each student had to sign the roster, check off a box next to the picture/name of Bush or Kerry, and place their ballot in the ballot box. The votes were tallied by the eighth grade honors class at the end of the day, when Kerry was declared the winner.
